Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre announces Executive Manager of Sales appointment
The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) has today the appointment of Anna Case as Executive Manager of Sales.
Case brings more than 25 years’ experience in sales, leadership and management to the role where she will lead the sales team in generating business opportunities for the venue and promoting the Gold Coast as the destination of choice for business events.
Commenting on her new role, Case advised “I’m excited to embark on this next chapter with the fantastic team at GCCEC where I aim to leverage my diverse experience and knowledge to drive growth and success.
“The approaching 2032 Olympic Games present new opportunities to explore a wide range of business avenues, elevating the centre and boosting the visitor economy for the city of Gold Coast.”
GCCEC interim General Manager ,Nick Jeffrey added “we are delighted to welcome Anna to the executive team. Her extensive network and knowledge of the sector will be invaluable to the destination and the sustainable growth of GCCEC.”
Since opening in 2004, GCCEC has hosted thousands of events from international conventions to Asian incentive dinners, and local government conferences to university graduations. Between now and the end of June GCCEC will welcome more than 18,000 visitors to the venue.
As of today, the venue will host the Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association annual Conference.
