Geelong recruits leisure services coordinator and venue manager

The City of Greater Geelong is currently recruiting two positions in its Projects, Recreation and Central Geelong Department.

The positions are:

Coordinator Leisure Services
• To provide leadership and direction to the Leisure Services department that ensures best practice delivery of a range of leisure and aquatic programs and services.
• To oversee the coordination and operation of a facility portfolio that includes Waterworld, Splashdown, Bellarine Aquatic and Sports Centre, Kardinia Aquatic Centre and Lara Pool 
• To provide a leadership role across the department in areas such as financial management, facility operations, marketing, human resource management, customer service and program development.

Venue Manager - Geelong Arena
To contribute significantly to the development and management of the Geelong Arena through the provision of operational support, along with a focus on strategic business development, including the development and implementation of innovative strategies required to increase patronage. 

This will include developing and promoting innovative program/event opportunities and liaison with key stakeholders.
