Excellence and best practice in mass participation events are set to be addressed at the upcoming 2025 conference of the Australian Mass Participation Sporting Events Alliance (AMPSEA) on 29th and 30th August.
Being held in Sydney for the first time, AMPSEA's conference is held immediately prior to TSC Sydney Marathon on Sunday 31st August and will include a behind-the-scenes guided tour of one of Australia’s most significant mass participation events - and the newest Abbott World Marathon Major.
Starting at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday 29th August, the conference will feature global case studies to practical takeaways, with industry leaders addressing key issues on the future of mass participation sporting events.
Key addresses will come from:

Friday's events will close with the AMPSEA AGM prior to the tour of the TSC Sydney Marathon.
AMPSEA was established in May 2020 by a coalition of industry leaders - including event organisers, suppliers and supporters - primarily to restore mass participation sporting events during the COVID-19 pandemic.
While its initial mission was to enable the safe return of mass participation sporting events across Australia, AMPSEA has since evolved into the authoritative voice and champion for the mass participation events sector.
