Free and discounted tickets for 2024 Perth Royal Show

The Western Australian Government is providing $5.2 million to help make the 2024 Perth Royal Show affordable for families. This year, admission to the show will be free for children aged 15 and under, with adult and concession tickets half price. Up to four children will be free for each paid adult ticket.

The annual event is hosted by the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RASWA).

More than 300,000 people are expected to flock to this year's Perth Royal Show from 21st-28th September, boosting the tourism economy with more than 59,000 visitor nights spent in metropolitan Perth.

The government funding will also support the nightly fireworks spectacular, which is set to be the biggest in the show's history. Fireworks will be launched from 100 locations, along with a spectacular agriculture-themed drone show.

Exciting new additions to this year's show include the 'Long Paddock' precinct featuring premium WA food and wine with views across the arena, the 'Indoor Feasting Barn' and 'PAWvilion'.

Showgoers will also be able to enjoy their favourite attractions such as the agricultural competitions, Animal Nursery, Sideshow Alley and more than 300 showbags. In addition, the Yellow Brick Road agriculture trail will make a return for the first since 2017.

The discounted tickets mean more WA families will now be able to enjoy the iconic annual event, which has brought the country to the city for more than 185 years.

In addition, a Lotterywest Grant of $690,000 will help fund support for volunteers, as well as improving access for people with a disability, Aboriginal people and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

The event brings together the WA community with 15,000 hours of volunteer time and more than 5,000 competition entries, including livestock, wool, shearing, cakes, crafts and more.
