Frankston City Council welcomes new Peninsula Leisure Directors

Frankston City Council has appointed three new Non-Executive Directors to the Board of Peninsula Leisure Pty Ltd - the operator of aquatic and recreation facility assets Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) and The Pines Forest Aquatic Centre on behalf of Frankston City Council.

Following a strong level of interest, new Director appointments to 31st October 2021 are Paul Faulkner, Scott Nathan and Rob Hines, who will join existing Directors Roseanne Healy and Phillip Johnson on the Board.

Frankston City Mayor Councillor Colin Hampton said that the high-quality candidates were a testament to the success of Peninsula Leisure, advising “we have continued to attract high quality candidates for these positions.

“This paired with the award-winning facilities managed and operated by the company demonstrates that Peninsula Leisure is a leader in the industry. It is a great outcome for Frankston City that we have this calibre of applicants wanting to work for our community.

“On behalf of Council and the community I would like to thank outgoing members Barbara Cook, Professor David Shilbury and Simon Allatson.

“Their service and direction during the important phase of establishing the award-winning facility has built a strong foundation, which continues to grow. With new state of the art facilities installed at PARC and a string of awards already, I am excited to see what the new team can achieve, with such a strong starting point.”
