Four days of business expertise to be shared at FILEX

Returning to Sydney after three years in Melbourne, FILEX, the southern hemisphere’s largest fitness convention, will be staging key business events as part of, and in addition to, its core three-day educational conference.

With FILEX being staged at the new ICC Sydney from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th April, the event will be preceeded by the FILEX Business Summit on Thursday 27th April.

Supported by Fitness Australia and a firm fixture on the fitness industry calendar, the FILEX Business Summit is the perfect opportunity for FILEX Business Gold Pass delegates to learn from world and industry-leading business experts.

Aiming to provide owners and managers with inspirational ideas and strategies, as well as the tools to overcome common obstacles, to ensure the long term fitness business success, the 2017 Summit will be addressed by industry leaders including:

• Bill McBride - co-founder of Active Sports Clubs and Active Wellness and former Chairman of the IHRSA Board of Directors.
• Acclaimed retention ‘guru’ Dr Paul Bedford

Business Sessions at FILEX 
Within FILEX’s overall theme ‘Igniting Passion’, there will be more than 40 business presentations including additional sessions from Bill McBride, Dr Paul Bedford and Luke Carlson as well as presentations from a range of top industry professionals.

These include sales professionals Amanda Bracks and Steve Jensen, David Norman of Synergy Fitness/Eye Fitness, Andrews Simmons of Vision Personal Training, ‘Mr Retention’ Paul Brown of Face2Face fitness and Xen Angelides of Precor Australia.

In addition, a Business Breakfast event on Saturday 29th April will address the meaning of sales and branding.
