Fluidra welcomes Valentina Tripp as new Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand
Fluidra, one of the aquatic industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of residential and commercial equipment and parts, has announced the appointment of Valentina Tripp as new Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand - replacing the retiring Stephen Matysiak.
After 32 years with the business, Matysiak steps down having spent the last decade leading Fluidra’s Asian, South African, Australian and New Zealand regions.
On Matysiak’s retirement, Fluidra noted “his passion and vision have been instrumental in Fluidra's success and growth”.
Set to join Fluidra as of 29th February, Tripp brings over 30 years of management experience across various sectors to the role, including her recent successful tenure as Chief Executive of Davey Australia.
An experienced chief executive, non-executive director and chair, Tripp has extensive experience in strategy, transformation, operations, turnarounds, sustainability and growing businesses in consumer, agribusiness, FMCG, industrial manufacturing and large-scale retail across Australia, New Zealand, Asian and global markets.
At Davey Water she led the turnaround and growth in the water transfer, water treatment and pool business prior to its successful divestment in September 2023 to Waterco Limited.
As Chief Executive of ASX-listed Murray River Organics, she previously led the turnaround and growth strategy for this vertically integrated farming, processing and FMCG business.
She is also an advocate for ethical and sustainable global supply chains.
