Fitstop agrees innovative partnership with NRL’s Gold Coast Titans
Functional Fitness company Fitstop will join the Gold Coast Titans as a partner for the next three seasons, with the two organisations creating a unique collaboration.
The link has already seen the NRL squad’s gym facilities revamped by the Fitstop team, with the Titans headquarters to reflect Fitstop’s own functional layout.
Advising that the link is unlike any previous fitness or gym partnership with a professional franchise, Titans Chief Executive, Steve Mitchell commented "we’ve got some great entrepreneurial thinkers who have partnered with our Club in recent times and there is no better example of that than Pete Hull and his team at Fitstop.
“With Pete’s vision, he’s worked with our high performance team to bring the Fitstop feel and functionality into our training base.
“Our playing squad will return to pre-season in a brand new gym.
“The Titans will be Fitstop’s flagship professional sporting partnership for the next three seasons and our NRL training base will serve as a hub for the Fitstop team to innovate.
“Through unique access to our high performance program, Fitstop will be able to take learnings from the NRL training environment to their wider customers and everyday athletes.
“Fitstop is a great success story and the energy that they’ve already brought to our organisation through their vision for their own expansion is in line with our growth plans for the Titans.”
Fitstop Chief Executive, Peter Hull says this is an important partnership as the Fitstop brand grows into international markets, adding "we are proud to partner with the Gold Coast Titans; providing the team with a newly revamped training facility while creating an R&D centre for Fitstop as we continue our growth as a leading global fitness business.”
Fitstop will also become the Titans official pre-season partner and will feature on the on-field trainers’ shirts during the NRL season.
Fitstop, which is backed by global wellness giant Lift Brands, was founded in Queensland in 2017 and has quickly grown to 13,000 members across more than 50 facilities.
