Fitness Australia’s Symposium 2016 to showcase the best of the industry
Fitness Australia has announced details of its 2016 industry Symposium, being held on Friday 14th October.
Returing for its second edition, the Symposium will present a range of talks, workshops and opportunities to network, with powerful speakers and meet some of the best minds in fitness.
The Symposium’s keynote address will be made digital marketing expert Fiona Bendall (pictured below), named one of the 100 Women of Influence by Westpac/AFR in 2015.
Introducing the event, Fitness Australia Chief Executive Bill Moore stated “Fiona is a pioneer in digital strategy and is one of Australia’s most respected thought leaders in this space.
“She’s developed key digital strategies in London and New York for world-renowned companies such as the BBC and Virgin, so as an industry, we’ll be looking to take as much of her expertise on board as possible as we collectively go in search of best practice.
“Digital plays a crucial part of any business in this day and age, and our industry is particularly well placed to benefit from the significant impact digital media can have in getting new clients and leveraging relationships with existing ones.”
Fitness Australia’s Symposium aims to energise attendees’ inspiration with hard hitting advice with other sessions including:
• Consumer behaviours online
• Fitness business management and lead generation
• Marketing and new age online trends
• Industry standards and international Trends
• Client behaviour change
• Quality improvement for your business
• Networking lunch.
The event will culminate in a gala dinner where Fitness Australia will recognise – among others – its 2016 #Active Achievers Award recipients, awards that recognise the outstanding work that Registered Instructors and Trainers do every day to help Australians live a more active, healthy lifestyle.
The event is being held at the Royal Randwick Racecourse, Sydney.
