Fitness Australia opens 2016 Awards program for nominations
Fitness Australia is inviting nominations for the second year of its #ActiveAchievers Award program - aiming to inspire, recognise and celebrate health outcomes and the fitness journey between a client and their Trainer or Instructor.
Introducing the Awards, Fitness Australia Chief Executive Bill Moore explained “our industry works hard every day to make people’s lives healthier and more active.
“The #ActiveAchievers Award gives clients and trainers the opportunity to share their blood, sweat and tears stories; the journey they’ve taken together to achieve the client’s goals.
“Similarly the #ActiveCommunities Award recognises the inspirational fitness programs out there that are engaging groups and individuals to regularly get together and be active, and in doing so improve not only their own health, but also the health of their communities.”
Aiming to recognise the outstanding work that Registered Instructors and Trainers do everyday that create active, healthier, happier communities, award nominations are open till 29th July.
The Awards will be presented at the 2016 Fitness Australia Symposium in Sydney on Friday 14th October.
