FitNation B2B event to return in October

FitNation, the annual B2B event for the fitness industry, is to return on 29th October with a focus on technology and innovation.

Following the same virtual format from last year, more than 1,200 fitness owners, operators and entrepreneurs are expected to come together to share invaluable insights, experiences and ideas, providing an ideal opportunity for attendees to learn, network and be inspired.

In a statement, FitNation advise that the event “comes at a crucial moment following the recent evolution of the fitness industry, as more and more fitness businesses have looked to use technology to blend physical and digital and provide more hybrid, holistic health and fitness experiences.”

The FitNation line-up has a host of leading industry brands including Virtuagym, CLMBR, Active Wellness, ClassPass, Workout Anytime, WIFA and Prime Time Fitness. It will also welcome prominent  fitness influencers such as Emma Barry, Matthew Januszek and Stephanie Elswood.

With a schedule set to cover a depth of topics, ranging from fitness trends that are here to stay to wellness and meditation, engagement with online communities and the democratisation of the fitness industry, this third edition of FitNation, follows the great success of the inaugural 2019 event and its virtual version last year.

Those who purchase virtual tickets will be able to watch three keynote presentations, including a panel discussion, and will also be able to experience:

  • 11 exclusive workshop sessions, led by industry experts

  • 1:1 networking sessions, where with just a click people can be matched for 3-minute video calls

  • A real life virtual booth exposition centre, to browse the latest fitness industry offers

The 2021 event will be live streamed from the state of the art Amsterdam studio of global fitness technology provider Virtuagym, and use the true-to-life experience provided by HopIn, a virtual events platform recently valued at over US$5.5 billion.

Hugo Braam, Chief Executive and co-founder of Virtuagym, who will open the event, explains “following all the changes and challenges that the fitness industry has had to face in the last two years, it has never been more important to share ideas, knowledge and experiences with one another.

“It’s therefore really exciting to have such a brilliant line-up for FitNation 2021, as we focus on how technology and innovation can continue to make the world a healthier and happier place.”

All attendees will additionally receive access to the post-event recordings, ensuring they can really make the most of all of the content and discussions being held.

FitNation is a platform for fitness professionals, from gym and studio owners to personal trainers and entrepreneurs. It produces webinars, podcasts and one show-stopping annual conference to provide education and inspiration and ensure fitness professionals never stop learning.
