First ever YogaFit Fundamentals instructor training comes to Australia

Australian Fitness Network is delivering the first ever YogaFit® Fundamentals course on Australian soil, this November in Sydney.

With more than 200,000 instructors trained on multiple continents, YogaFit® is the largest yoga fitness education school in the world and their partnership with Australian Fitness Network will make the intensive six-day Fundamentals program available to Australian instructors.

YogaFit® is specifically designed for presentation in health clubs, fitness facilities or other group exercise venues, and through its focus on safety, accessibility and 'yoga for everybody', succeeds in bringing achievable yoga to the masses.

Announcing the program, Network Education Manager Alisha Smith explains says "this is big news for the fitness industry.

"As fantastic as traditional Yoga is, some of the terminology, chanting and poses can limit its appeal for the average gym-goer.

"YogaFit® gives us a way to cater to these people by allowing them to experience the many benefits of a yoga practice in an environment and style that is accessible and non-intimidating."

The YogaFit® Fundamentals course includes Level 1, Level 2, Anatomy and Alignment, and eight hours of practice teaching.
