Festival organisers merge forces under one umbrella ‘Noisy Group’

The founders behind Kingdom Sounds and Rolling Sets Festival, Steve Sewell and Matt Wise, are merging forces under one powerhouse umbrella - Noisy Group – aimed at bringing a new era of live entertainment and bookings.

After shifting more than 180,000 tickets in the past year, the company is setting its sights on over 300,000 by 2026. The strategy includes additional festivals, further venue acquisitions and bringing more live music to regional and capital city audiences across Australia and beyond with the pair heading to SXSW Austin Texas this month, scouting for talent for their upcoming festival and event programming.

Their hugely successful yet boutique festival brand Rolling Sets, boasting previous top tier talent including The Wombats, Hilltop Hoods, Spacey Jane, Ocean Alley, Lime Cordiale and more, has solidified its reputation as a must-attend on the summer Festival circuit, selling out year on year.

Beyond its own festivals, Noisy Group plays a pivotal role in booking talent for major Australian festivals such as Changing Tides, Glenworth Grazing Food & Wine Festival, and a range of other high-profile events.

With a stacked roster of 21+ venues spanning Sunshine Coast to Canberra, the group have announced some fresh new impressive signings:

  • The Shed – Sunshine Coast

  • Kingscliff Hotel – Kingscliff

  • Jetty Beachhouse – Coffs Harbour

  • Finnians – Port Macquarie

  • The Recky – Forster Tuncurry

  • The Vineyard Hotel – Vineyard

In addition to venue expansion, Noisy Group is stepping into the promoter space with a new banner, Noisy Presents, a series of game-changing tours and one-off events.

First up? Noisy Presents: Spacey Jane @ The Station, Newcastle which forms part of the indie rockers biggest ever AU/NZ tour ahead of the release of their third studio album this May.
