Mitchell Shire Council hosts Seymour River and Ranges Music Festival 2025

The Seymour River and Ranges Music Festival, hosted by Mitchell Shire Council, is coming to Kings Park Reserve on Saturday 15th March.

The Music Festival offers a powerful celebration of community spirit and resilience - born from the determination to rebuild and reconnect after the devastating floods of October 2022.

The festival is all about coming together, lifting each other up, and having an unforgettable time.

Through collaboration with the Seymour Community Support Committee and local volunteers, the festival highlights the strength and determination of the community in transitioning from recovery to resilience, reinforcing the spirit of the Seymour community.

The festival is open to all and boasts an incredible line-up, including the soulful sounds of The Black Sorrows, country rising star Taylor Sheridan, festival favourites Kingswood, and the dynamic country duo Carter & Carter.

Additionally on offer will be performances from local dance groups, bands, and DJs. There will be a pop-up bar, a variety of food trucks and array of market stalls.

Children can enjoy a range of fun activities in the free Youth Activation area.

Mitchell Shire Mayor John Dougall enthused "bringing a festival of this scale to Mitchell Shire is truly exciting and we’re looking forward to welcoming music lovers from near and far. We're proud to host such a fantastic and inclusive event that shows off amazing talent and brings joy to people of all ages. We hope everyone can come and join in the fun."

Ticket numbers are limited, so registration is required to secure a spot. No tickets will be available at the gate. All attendees must agree to Council’s Terms and Conditions of Entry. All patrons aged three years and above require an entry ticket.
