Bluesfest Byron Bay secures an award for Best Australian Music Festival

Bluesfest Byron Bay has secured an award for the Best Australian Music Festival at The Brag Media's inaugural Live Business Breakfast, presented by Variety Australia and Twilio, held this week in Sydney. This accolade celebrates the excellence and resilience demonstrated by Bluesfest, even in the face of a challenging environment for the live entertainment industry.

Bluesfest Byron Bay is a premier annual Australian music festival held over the Easter long weekend in the Byron Bay NSW area since 1990. Renowned for its diverse selection of blues and roots performers from around the globe, Bluesfest is one of the world’s leading contemporary music festivals, drawing up to 100,000 attendees each year.

Bluesfest has always been a beacon of musical brilliance, attracting thousands of festival-goers and a stellar lineup of international and local artists. Winning this award amid esteemed nominees such as CMC Rocks and Laneway Festival underscores the festival's unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional musical experiences.

The Brag Media's Live Business Breakfast was hosted by Australia’s leading youth publisher, The Brag Media, and presented by Variety Australia and Twilio, the inaugural Live Business Breakfast celebrates excellence in live entertainment. Held on 13th June  2024, at Sydney’s 12-Micron, Barangaroo, the event honours outstanding achievements across seven special award categories, highlighting the vitality and innovation within Australia’s live entertainment industry.
