Fairfield Aqua Playland makes a splash
One of the aquatic successes through the warm late summer and spring at Fairfield Leisure Centre was a new Whitewater West AquaPlay feature.
The $500,000 AquaPlay 550 with tipping bucket was installed by Whitewater West Australia Pty Ltd for Fairfield City Council in western Sydney.
Fairfield Mayor Nick Lalich was delighted that the new water park was buzzing with activitity from the day of its opening, stating "the new AquaPlay water park attraction at Fairfield Leisure Centre is another fantastic activity we have available for the kids.
"It towers over you, itâs amazing, and the kids have been enjoying endless hours on it, climbing, sliding and splashing."
Normal entry fees apply to use the water park, but it only operates if there are enough children in the complex.
Whitewater West Australia are currently have a number of projects coming on line, including the installation of a AP750TB at the Geelong Aquatic Centre.
