Polytan Symposium designed to support local sport facility development

Following a series of successful past events, leading sport surfacing company Polytan will be staging another its series of events designed to support local sport facility development at Sydney’s Moore Park Golf on Wednesday 20th September 2017.

Polytan’s ‘Concept to Creation - Sports Field Symposium’ provides an opportunity for local government, educational establishments, sports associations, clubs and venues to listen to recent case studies, skilled project managers and facility operators. The experienced speakers will share their thoughts and provide a range of presentations, aimed at identifying critical and worthwhile considerations, for potential synthetic sports facility builders.

With almost 30 years of industry experience, established on a strong foundation of knowledge-sharing, strong project management, research and innovative development, Polytan are keen to further support the successful planning and construction of regional facilities.

With strategic locations throughout Australia, across Asia and New Zealand, Polytan has participated in some of the world’s most exciting and challenging sporting construction projects.

Polytan’s impressive client list spans from Olympic and Commonwealth Games venues, through to regional facilities for sporting associations and universities, along with numerous state and local government departments, who strive to deliver sport and recreation facilities within their local communities.

Those attending the Symposium will be provided with information on how to make educated decisions from the initial planning through the design and construction of sporting and recreational facilities.

Additionally, successful concepts will be openly discussed and balanced, with optional inclusions to maximise longevity to help you get the most out of a synthetic sporting facility.

The Symposium will feature an intriguing range of topics including facility design trends, approximate project costs, surfacing systems, maintenance, venue development and planning for the future will be discussed.

Polytan National Sales Manager Rob Kirkwood explained “we believe participants will walk away with a comprehensive understanding of the best practice to drive their vision into a successful reality.”

After the Symposium at Moore Park Golf, a further event will be held in late November.
