With the new ASM Global venue management entity - being formed from the merger of AEG Facilities and SMG - having last week received unconditional clearance from the UK Competition and Markets Authority, Brisbane-based AEG Ogden will now operate as ASM Global (Asia Pacific).

With AEG Ogden having been a partnership between Australian interests and AEG Facilities, the ASM Global (Asia Pacific) will now be the Australasian and Asia-Pacific are of the global venue management and entertainment business.

In addition, AEG Presents has joint ventures with Australian music industry icons, Michael Gudinski of Frontier Touring and Michael Chugg and close working relationships with Geoff Jones’ TEG Live, Paul Dainty at TEG Dainty and Live Nation.

A statement from ASM Global (Asia Pacific) advised “(we are) in the unique position of being able to guarantee world-class music, family entertainment and indoor sport content in all of the venues it operates.
