EPICURE renews long-term contract with Melbourne Town Hall
Event and venue caterer EPICURE has extended its exclusive partnership with the City of Melbourne at the Melbourne Town Hall into a third decade.
The five year contract extension will see the gourmet catering and event specialist, support the hosts receptions, exhibitions, corporate launches, conferences and cocktail parties hosted at the civic venue.
Welcoming the contract extension, Spotless General Manager for Leisure, Sports & Entertainment Ian Delmenico stated "our onsite team is dedicated to providing great experiences for a range of events at the iconic venue.
“The team’s passion is evident in everything they do as they all take great pride in working at the Town Hall.”
Melbourne Lord Mayor Robert Doyle said the Council was impressed by EPICURE’s pledge to establish a relationship with social enterprise Streat as part of the new contract, adding “EPICURE will participate in Streat’s training programs to provide opportunities for vulnerable young people - often homeless - and will also purchase Streat’s roasted coffee beans to use throughout the Town Hall: both of these commitments got a big tick from us."
For the past 14 years, Spotless has been associated with one of the Town Hall’s gala events, the Melbourne Awards.
In 2016, Spotless will again be a major sponsor for the initiative, which recognises organisations and individuals who have made a positive contribution to the city.
