Dreamworld to debut wildlife documentary
Dreamworld is the filming location for an upcoming documentary called Australia, the Great Southern Land.
The Sydney-based production company, GraingerTV, is responsible for the filming and editing of this 30-minute film.
The documentary will feature the four different themed areas that make up Dreamworldâs wildlife section: The Wetlands of Kakadu, the Rainforests of the Daintree, the Outback and Koala Country.
Dreamworld staff will be featured in the film, including Al Mucci, General Manager of Life Science.
âWhat we want to achieve with this production is to bring the enormous diversity and beauty of Australia to the big screen?, Al explains, adding "our aim is to share Dreamworld's passion for wildlife with our Australian and international guests as a warm-up to a visit to our wildlife sanctuary. There, guests can actually see and touch the real thing.?
The film will be screened twice daily within the parkâs movie theatre, once in English and once in Mandarin.
Filming and editing is due to finish later this month and the first screening will take place in September.
