Dreamworld presents a spectacular showcase for event organisers
Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld has presented its first Events Showcase of the year, transforming its spaces into a spectacular event venue with tigers, rides and aerial acrobatics.
Presented to event organisers, the progressive dinner began on Tiger Island, where guests sipped on their pre-dinner drinks while the theme parkt’s tigers provided some fun and educational entertainment which showcased the importance of tiger conservation.
Guests walked through to Kung Fu Panda: Land of Awesomeness where they were greeted by several stilt walkers and the star of Kung Fu Panda himself, Po, before taking the opportunity to ride Pandamonium and the Skadoosh Bumper Cars.
The guests were ushered into Dreamworld’s Main Street to enjoy dinner and two performances from the Aerial Angels. The evening was capped off with the Illuminate Laser Light Show, the only one of its kind in Queensland.
Commenting on the promotion, Dreamworld Events Sales Manager Katie Tinetti stated “it truly is amazing to show clients how Dreamworld transforms after dark.
“For clients to see, hear, feel and taste just how fantastic their event could be, it’s the best way we can convey what we can do.”
With Dreamworld Events to host another Showcase later this year, the theme park will again be presenting its ‘Zombie Evilution’ scare attraction for a one-off presentation on Friday 10th April.
First presented at Dreamworld in 2013, the event will feature as part of an after-dark party along with the theme park’s Big 9 Thrill Rides.
