Debitsuccess extends lead in payment solutions market with latest release of OMG
Leading payment solutions company, Debitsuccess is set to extend its market influence with the release of the latest version of its exclusive billing software the Online Management Gateway (OMG).
OMG is a secure, paperless billing system that lets businesses sign up customers instantly online and process their payments via credit card, debit cards or bank accounts.
Debitsuccess Group IT Manager Steven Holmes says the updates to the OMG software include further improvements to enhance customisability and simplify the user experience.
Holmes explains "OMG has evolved to integrate with social media platforms, and can be linked to your website or Facebook page to create a seamless sign up process.
"What's more, unlike other products on the market that process recurring payments, Debitsuccess provides the OMG tool to customers for no added service fee."
Holmes says the cost-saving and administrative benefits of collecting recurring payments using OMG are far-reaching for businesses that have a high level of customer engagement.
He adds "OMG is primarily about convenience. There is no need for prospective customers to visit you in person to purchase goods or to sign up to an offer, plus it's instant, with no paper, no signatures and no waiting.
"It helps businesses improve their cash flow and decrease their admin costs, also eliminating the need for annual renewals. Customers simply commit for a minimum period and remain paying customers after that time until they give notice of their desire to cancel the arrangement or their goods are fully paid for".
Since its initial release in 2008, OMG has become the software of choice for a wide range of businesses that process large numbers of regular client payments.
Aquatic, event, fitness, media, recreation, ticketing and venue businesses on both sides of the Tasman have benefitted from using OMG, including Goodlife Health Clubs, website development company Perth Web Design, New Zealand's CLM Health & Fitness, and Dunedin-based ticketing company TicketDirect.
Since opening its first club in Queensland in 2002, Goodlife Health Clubs have become one of Australia's most successful fitness club chains, now boasting 43 clubs, over 130,000 members, and one of the highest customer retention rates in the industry.
Goodlife Chief Executive Greg Oliver says "the OMG system takes away the stress and complications of the administration process and means people can start enjoying their gym experience sooner."
Goodlife began using OMG in 2009, having previously managed all membership administration through each individual club's computer system. Through a close working relationship with Debitsuccess, they were able to develop and customize the OMG web site so its functionality would suit the specific needs of Goodlife fitness across all its centres.
In similar fashion, Perth Web Design has registered significant growth in profitability thanks to the efficiency of the OMG software.
"OMG is a great system that fits very well with our business. We use it internally to sign up new clients over the phone, which eliminates the need for slow paperwork. We can also create our own ready-to-go templates for specific clients needs. It's quick, flexible and adaptable to our needs."
CLM Health & Fitness, which boasts over 500 staff working in 34 leisure facilities around the country, is using the technology to enable the company to take a step up in its ability to attract and retain new members.
Several CLM facilities that have set up computer terminals in their gym reception areas to give people instant access to the Online Management Gateway have found that it helps potential new members complete the process, according to CLM Manager Geoff Barton "when the iron is hot."
Barton explains "if people can sign up on the spot, and then use the gym straight away it really helps their enthusiasm for coming back, and ensures they ex
