Davey Water Products branding added to Waterco headquarters
Having acquired Davey Water Products in a $64.9 million deal in the second half of last year, Waterco Limited has added Davey’s branding to its global headquarters in the Sydney suburb of Rydalmere.
Five months ASX-listed Waterco acquired Davey from GUD Holdings Limited, to create the largest Australian-owned and operated entity in the water industry, the addition of Davey’s logo to Waterco’s global headquarters is a significant step for the brand.
Waterco founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive, Soon Sinn commented “this is another exciting step in aligning these two great Australian companies to create a stronger and more competitive pump, water treatment and pool equipment business.
“We continue to look forward to enhancing our product and service capabilities, improving operational efficiencies, and increasing our customer focus with the highly engaged Waterco and Davey teams.”
Speaking at the time of the acquisition, Goh noted “one outcome of the acquisition will be increased share of global water markets across pool and spa, water transfer and water treatment categories.
“Waterco’s extensive distribution into North America and the European Union will further enhance Davey’s pre-existing reach in Europe.
“Another benefit is that both companies will have access to each other’s customer bases as products are complementary.”
