Cristian Ferrarese named Managing Director at Technogym Australia
Australasian Leisure Management can report that Cristian Ferrarese has commenced in the role of Managing Director at Technogym Australia, replacing Claudio Bertozzi who, after 10 years heading Technogym's operations in Australia, has left the company to take on a senior managerial role at Nexion Oceania Automotive Solutions.
A qualified lawyer, Ferrarese, who has been Managing Director of Technogym's operation in China since 2017, has extenisve experience in business in Asia.
On departing his previous role at Technogym China, he advised in a recent social media post "I felt blessed and honoured to have the opportunity to lead a great team of talents and fitness passionates that lead Technogym to become in few years the market leader in one of the most competitive countries in our industry."
Earlier in his career, Ferrarese worked as a legal advisor to Amnesty International.
Technogym celebrates 40 years at 2024 Milan Design Week
Technogym is to mark its 40 years in business with a special exhibition, ‘Design to Move’, during Milan Design Week 2024.
Featuring 40 unique Technogym benches, one of the brand’s signature home wellness products, the exhibition will explore the special and deep relation between design and wellness, style and functionality, emotional and tangible, that has always represented a key element of Technogym since its inception.
Using Technogym Bench as a blank canvas, ‘Design to Move’ features the unique creations of Patricia Urquiola, Antonio Citterio, Nendo, Walter De Silva e Mario Antonioli, Elena Salmistraro, Kelly Hoppen, Michele Bönan, Rolf Sachs, Piero Lissoni, Nerio Alessandri, Tiffany Lovage, Giorgia Apreia, Gustavo Martini, Ludovica Messina, Malika Novi Dzhamaldaeva, Mariana Prestes, Yuetong Shi, Renin Bilginer, Univers Uchronia, Anaïs Coulon, Iwan Suastika, Wilson Ng, Myles Igwebuike, Tosin Tòròmádé, Osiris Hertman, Kate Constantine, Chankalun, Alek. O., Santo Tolone, Riccardo Beretta, Andrea Sala, Shafei Xia, Objects of Common Interest, Piotr Makowski, Beatrice Alici, Elisa Ceccoli, Maria Violato, Egal Marcelo Zuniga Argandona, Jana Mosconi, Gabriele Carrera, Alberto Bay and Anna Bonomi.

The inauguration, will be held on 15th April, coincided with celebrations for Made in Italy day, established by the Italian Government on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Leonardo da Vinci.
Milan Design Week runs from 15th to 21st April.
