Cricket Australia extends long-standing partnership with MKTG Sports + Entertainment

Cricket Australia has announced a two-year extension of its long-standing partnership with MKTG Sports + Entertainment. The extension marks a significant milestone in a collaboration that has spanned over two decades, one of the longest-standing relationships in professional sport in Australia.

The extended partnership solidifies MKTG's position as the exclusive sales agent for all in-stadia media for Men's international cricket, and the supply and operation of stadia media infrastructure across the summer for International Cricket and the Men’s and Women’s BBL. The collaboration also extends to a new alliance in the creative and content development space, highlighting the commitment to elevating the fan experience.

Over the past 20 years, Cricket Australia and MKTG have seamlessly worked together to provide and deliver cutting-edge stadia media infrastructure across at least 17 venues nationally. This collaboration encompasses over 100 cricket match days over 100 matchdays each summer, with over 20,000 content files delivered through MKTG's award-winning content management system, Stadia Media.

Cricket Australia Executive General Manager, Broadcasting & Commercial Stephanie Beltrame enthused "we are thrilled to extend our long-standing partnership with MKTG Sports + Entertainment. Over the years, they have been instrumental in enhancing the fan experience during our cricketing events, helping us grow the value of our commercial assets and their expertise in media infrastructure and content development continues to be invaluable."

MKTG Sports + Entertainment Managing Director Matt Connell expressed enthusiasm about the extended partnership adding "It's an honour to continue our journey with Cricket Australia, a world-class organisation that we have called partner for over 20 years. This extension signifies the success of our past collaborations and opens new avenues for creative and innovative ventures. We look forward to further elevating the cricketing experience for fans across the nation."

The announcement aligns with the commencement of the 2023-2024 summer cricket season. As both organisations look ahead to the future, the extended partnership reflects their shared commitment to excellence and innovation in sports entertainment.
