Cowra opens paintball assault course

A new paintball facility has opened in the village of Wyangala in the Cowra Shire.

The centre opened early in May and already more 100 people have taken the opportunity to play soldier.

Named 'Tactical Assault', the operators have spent considerable time constructing the course, providing places to hide to try and avoid being splattered with the colourful paint bullets.

Players are provided with safety gear including overalls and goggles to lessen the chance of any serious injury. All games are supervised by trained referees to settle any disputes.

Players must be at least 16 years to play. Up-to-date the facility has been used by both social and work-place groups. Corporate groups are actively encouraged to use the centre as a team building activity.

With the colder winter weather approaching, operating times have been changed allowing players to enjoy the best part of the shorter days. The operators have also introduced some introductory discount deals to make the activity more attractive to potential players.
