Core Health and Fitness takes legal action to protect fitness industry from unlawful conspiracy
Core Health and Fitness - a vertically integrated global manufacturer and distributor of fitness equipment, has taken legal action to protect the fitness industry from unlawful conspiracy.
Core Health and Fitness, a leading player in the global fitness and wellness industry, has taken steps to hold accountable a group of people and businesses who have allegedly inflated logistics and installation costs related to its sale of fitness equipment.
In August, Core learned that it was a victim of an alleged conspiracy aimed at unfairly taking logistics and installation jobs in violation of certain laws, rules, and regulations. Last week, Core filed suit in the United States Federal District Court for the Central District of California to hold certain people and companies accountable and to protect their customers and industry from this kind of misconduct in the future.
Bryan O’Rourke, Chief Executive of Core Health and Fitness noted “Core’s commitment to its customers and the industry in general has not wavered since it was founded in 2009.
“Alleged conspiracies like these have victims, and this case protects our team of over 1,700 professionals and professionals at other companies, not to mention the customers and consumers they serve. Protecting each other demonstrates our commitment to being the partner of choice in the fitness industry as we work together to share our passion for fitness and make the world a happier and healthier place.”
