Conference Leads the Industry

FitnessNZ's November exercise and wellness conference industry, GetNZ Active, is now established as the country's premier recreation and fitness management event.
Describing the event, which is just in its second year, Event Manager, Nathan Burrows, says "we had over 400 at the conference, up almost 100% on the previous year, and the feedback from attendees was extremely positive".
Held at the AUT University, Burrows added that "one of the big changes in 2007 was the inclusion of free onsite accommodation for those out of town, which helped to keep the cost down for the non locals."
The dates for GetNZ Active 2008 are already set (29th and 30th November 2008) with FitnessNZ setting itself the ambitious target of 500 attendees.
