Clubware online bookings go from strength to strength
Leading gym management software Clubware is growing in popularity in the fitness industry, with one key feature going from strength to strength.
Released in August 2014, the online bookings module is growing in popularity and use.
Clubware Developer Derek Tomes says the feature is being used by an increasing number of clubs in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Tomes explains “this online bookings module allows gym members to view a timetable online and book into classes.
“Since launch, we’ve seen more than 160,000 online bookings – that’s a significant amount of members who can easily access the details of the class they’re interested in and book.
“What’s more, it allows them to post that they’re attending a class to social media which also helps with the gym’s online profile.”
An industry specific software designed with feedback from across the health and fitness industry, Clubware is regularly updated with innovations to help meet members’ changing needs. The online booking module is a 24/7 self service feature available on a facility’s website. Members can log in using their email address to book and edit classes at any time. Today, Clubware is used by more than 900 health and fitness clubs across Australasia and the United Kingdom and is considered the most user friendly product of its kind on the market.
One facility reaping the benefits of this feature is Lifestyle Upper Hutt.
Co-owner Emma Bunny explains “the online booking service is proving to be a very popular tool with our members.
“We’re seeing an increasing number of our members using it, which helps facilitate more people attending our classes.”
Clubware’s ongoing development and improvement continues to build its popularity with clubs and associations outside the traditional health and fitness space, with a growing range of organisations finding its tools and features useful for running their administration.
Originally launched in 2001 with a number of upgrades over the years, Clubware is distributed by Debitsuccess and PaySmart in Australasia, Debitsuccess in the United States, and DFC and Harlands in the United Kingdom.
These companies are part of the Transaction Services Group, an international full service payment solutions provider.
