City of Ballarat delivers inaugural Winteractive Arcade for fans of gaming

The City of Ballarat’s Events Team has partnered with the team behind the virtual reality drone racing game, Drone Legion, to give gamers the chance to play the locally-developed game first-hand over 29th to 30th June and 13th to 14th July.

This aligns with the Ballarat Events Strategy goal of developing new experiences hand-in-hand with local businesses to develop a uniquely Ballarat flavour.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see artist demonstrations using Tilt Brush – a Google application that allows you to paint in 3D with virtual reality.

The City of Ballarat’s Events Team are also bringing in a giant game of multiplayer Snake, old-school arcade machines and augmented reality technology for visitors to immerse themselves in.

This event is presented by the City of Ballarat and supports the Creative City Strategy by tapping into the unique characteristics and strengths of local creatives. It also goes to the core of the Ballarat Events Strategy.
