Children's sport program expands internationally
Leading children's multi-sport program provider SportyBots has announced its expansion overseas with its first internationally licensed centre launching in Kuwait.
Sportybots Pty Ltd Director Mel Faull explains "we are excited that Sportybots programs will now be reaching children overseas as well as in Australia and are looking at further expansion into the New Zealand and Asia markets."
Sportybots programs have been running in sport and recreation centres in South Australia since 2007 giving thousands of children the opportunity to try a variety of sports in a fun and non competitive environment.
The programs are aimed at children from one and a half to eight years old and cover twelve common sports.
With preschool sports representing the biggest growth area in the children's activities market and parents actively seeking programs for their children aged under five, businesses like Sportybots are seeing increasing demand for their services across Australia.
Faull explains "in November we started licensing our programs directly to the sport and recreation centres.
"Licensing allows us to expand and meet customer demand while keep classes affordable for families."
The programs are already proving popular with recreation centres in South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia and Victoria already signing on as licensees.
Faull adds "we are delighted with the response.
"Centres can see the immediate benefits of running an already established program in house instead of using third parties who profit from providing the service instead of the centre."
Faull also added that SportyBots are developing a gross motor skill specific program to be released later this year.
SportyBots has further licensing opportunities available Australia wide as well as overseas.
