Total Gym appoints Meghan Jarvis as new National Business Development Officer for Australian operations
Progressive fitness equipment company Total Gym has announced that activity, fitness and wellness technology expert Meghan Jarvis has joined its team as its new National Business Development Officer for Australian operations.
Jarvis’ background in health and fitness began when she was five years old as a world ranked BMX bicycle racer. She later came to Australia to play professional basketball and most recently appeared as a ‘Ninja’ on Channel 9’s, Australian Ninja Warrior.
Currently she is the founder of Buzvil a health and fitness app that connects providers to consumers where she has the largest group of health and fitness partners in Queensland while also expanding in five different countries.
Commenting on her role, she stated “Total Gym provided the industry with the latest in equipment that can change the landscape of fitness classes globally. The equipment allows for maximum consumption of calories and the ability for a full body challenging workout that it’s caught the eyes of Cross Fit and UFC.”
Jarvis is also the current Xtreme International Altitude Master Coach, Precor and CrankIt Master Coach making her an authority on fitness equipment and peak performance. She is an international speaker who speaks at the largest fitness conferences in the world such as Filex, CanFit Pro, FitEx and TedX.
Her experiences as an athlete, her educational portfolio (Sports Scientist, Kinesiologist and Masters of Coaching and Sport Science), her entrepreneurial ventures have shaped her as a formidable leader in health and fitness.
She is extremely excited to assist Total Gym and its local distributor, HQH Fitness, grow into one of the leading equipment distributors in Australia and will be speaking on the Future of Fitness Technology and innovative equipment at the upcoming FILEX convention in Sydney this weekend.
