Challenge marks Bondi Junction Fitness Hub’s first anniversary

Infinite Cycle, The Glute Station and Air Locker have celebrated the first birthday of the Bondi Junction Fitness Hub with their inaugural Bondi’s Ultimate Fitness Challenge.

David Rawlings, owner of Infinite Cycle in Bondi Junction, explained “held on Sunday 22nd November, 25 members took part in a two-hour fitness challenge that spanned each of the three studios.

Infinite Cycle delivered a 45-minute ICPeloton session, which included a three-minute time trial in the middle, to see who could ride the farthest distance. With three locations - Bondi Junction, the inner Sydney suburb of Waterloo and Mitchell in the ACT - and two more launching in Melbourne in February 2021, Infinite Cycle delivers fully immersive cycling experiences.

Using responsive indoor bikes that tilt 22 degrees each way, Infinite Cycle offers a unique virtual ride experience with exhilarating sprints and steep climbs to engage exercisers.

As part of the Bondi Ultimate Fitness Challenge, Air Locker also delivered a 45-minute circuit training session in their state-of-the-art high-altitude studio.

Currently operating studios operating in Bondi and Newcastle (and with two more scheduled for launch in Kotara and East Maitland), Air Locker is, as it explains “a unique training facility enabling members to achieve their health and wellness goals using  Simulated Altitude Training to create an environment that encourages the human body to push itself, simply by reducing the amount of oxygen in the room.

“Entirely safe and non-invasive, this method of training is backed by extensive evidence and boosts the health of the mind, body and soul. Every single person, no matter their fitness level, can enhance physical performance when training at Altitude.”

Rounding off Bondi’s Ultimate Fitness Challenge, The Glute Station challenged participants with a 45-minute circuit training session across its specialist equipment.

The Glute Station delivers group training, one-to-one personal training, rehabilitation and private hire, providing the ultimate glute training experience using the world’s best training machines and by focusing on the key elements of performance, growth and rehab.

Free snacks and shakes were provided by O Super Foods and Bondi Meal Prep, ensuring the event was devoured wholeheartedly and a great success for all involved.

Rawlings added “the response was so resoundingly positive, we're already planning the next one.”
