Celebrity Fitness expands with aquisition of Jakarta's myBody Gym fitness club

Celebrity Fitness, Indonesia's biggest fitness chain, recently took over the former myBody Gym fitness club sited at the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

This is Celebrity Fitness' first club in the capital's Central Business District, bringing its club footprint to 24 locations in Jakarta and major cities of Bandung, Bogor, Medan, Semarang and Surabaya.

The aquisition marks the start of an expansion plan in Celebrity Fitness' biggest market, with more club openings expected to be announced soon.

Meanwhile, event organisers AMM Expo have announced that the inaugural Asia Fitness Expo, Asia Health Expo and Asia Sport Expos will be held from 4th to 6th April 2014 at the Jakarta International Expo centre in the Jakarta suburb of Kemayoran.
