Celebrating Banjo's Billabong's first Australia Day

Jamberoo Action Park is gearing up for the first Australia Day since the launch of its Australiana themed water attraction Banjo's Billabong.
To celebrate, every child entering the waterpark and theme park today (Saturday 26th January) will be greeted with a free temporary Aussie tattoo, and be set for a day jam-packed full of fun.
Banjo's Billabong, the largest interactive water play area in the Southern Hemisphere, provides kilolitres of fun for all ages. A multiple platform attraction, the structure is seeped with all things Australian including boomerangs, a G'day mate sign, the Australian, Aboriginal, Gold Rush, Union Jack and Boxing Kangaroo flags, koala and parrot figurines and even a surfing Kangaroo. Banjo's Billabong contains over 198 different water features including water slides, valves, cranks, cannons, bridge climbs and spray features. To top it all off, the area is crowned with a huge bucket that tips 1,200 litres of water on guests every 10 minutes.
Classic Australian tunes will be played across the Park's airwaves all day with resident DJ Davy Gee pumping Australian party anthems through Outback Bay.
Ensuring even more thrills and spills, the new Funnel Web the biggest water ride of its kind in the world will see guests lose all orientation as they zoom through the water slide's 270 metres at 30 kilometres per hour, twisting, turning and free falling in complete darkness before being spat out into a huge funnel.
For even more Aussie Day action, the Park will have an Aussie Pavilion available where a wide range of Australian themed items can be purchased including hats, flags, soft toys, tattoos, can coolers, zinc, bandannas, board shorts, singlets and t-shirts.
To access Park information, the new e-ticketing system and priority entry, guests can download the Jamberoo Smartphone App.
