Recreation SA develops Aquatic sector group: Announces Aquatics 2011 conference

Recreation SA has developed an aquatics sector group, 'Aquatic Recreation SA', to represent the professional interests of the South Australian aquatic industry.

Sponsored by Candetti, the builders of the new SA State Aquatic Centre, individuals and facilities joining the group will be provided with:

•  Development opportunities;
•  Networking opportunities;
•  Watch Around Water accreditation; and
•  Input into codes and standards for the industry.

One of the key areas of focus of Aquatic Recreation SA will be in its running of the Watch Around Water campaign with the newly appointed Siobhan Goble taking on the role of SA coordinator of the program. (More news on the expansion of Watch Around Water will follow tomorrow).

Recreation SA has also announced that the 2011 South Australian Aquatics Conference will tale place on 9th September.

The event, to be held at the SA State Aquatic Centre in Marion, is sponsored by Links Modular Solutions.
