Carbon Neutral Wood Energy to be introduced at Nelson's Nayland Pool
Nayland Park Pool has taken the innovative step to switch from a coal-powered boiler system to a carbon neutral, renewable wood fuel to heat their pools.
The Nelson City Council community facility, managed by CLM, is now making use of free flowing wood chip specifically manufactured for industrial and commercial boiler use.
Supplied by Azwood Limited, one of New Zealand's most experienced industrial and commercial energy suppliers with over 30 years experience, the wood chip product delivers accurate, consistent and reliable wood energy.
CLM partnered with Nelson City Council is September last year to manage the South Island city’s community venues.
