Brisbane Fitness and Health Expo to return in 2013

After two successful expos, the Brisbane Fitness and Health Expo is to return in 2013 with the event to be held on the weekend of 12th and 13th October at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

With the 2012 event attracting 7,000 visitors (up 75% on 2011) and around 100 exhibitors (up 25% on 2011), organisers plan for the 2013 event to establish new records.

Highlights of the 2013 Expo will include:

• An Action-Packed Centre Stage

• Fashion Parades

• Celebrity Appearances

• Strength and Bodybuilding Demonstrations

• A Cross Fit and Powerlifting Competition

• A Fitness Model Search

• The Queensland Fitness Conference (run in conjunction with the Expo)

Brisbane Fitness and Health Expo owner Jason Greenhalgh is very happy with the growth the event has achieved in its first two years, explaining "our aim is to create an event for Brisbane which will grow to resemble the huge expos held in other major Australian cities, such as the Australian Fitness and Health Expo in Sydney that has been running for almost 20 years.

"Growth like a 75% increase in attendance at the Brisbane Fitness and Health Expo over the past year signals an exciting future for the event.

"We can't wait for next year and are looking forward to planning an even bigger and better event to support the local industry and further engage local consumers."
