Brimbank Council flags its Environmental Leadership Program
Brimbank Council has flagged its Environmental Leadership Program offering participants the opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.
The unique program empowers individuals to plan, design, and deliver a community project that promotes environmental change.
Brimbank Mayor Thuy Dang notes “The Brimbank Environmental Leadership Program is making a positive difference in our community, empowering people who care about the environment to plan, design, and implement projects that help protect it.
“These are important initiatives that demonstrate Council’s commitment to supporting an inclusive and connected community and promoting leadership roles in the community.
“On behalf of Brimbank Council, I would like to congratulate the 2024 graduates and recognise their contribution to support, inspire and build community pride in our city.”
Through hands-on workshops, expert mentoring, and collaboration with like-minded peers, participants will develop leadership skills and gain practical experience in driving sustainable solutions.
The Brimbank Community Leadership Program aims to provide opportunities for eligible community members in Brimbank to build and strengthen their capacity in community leadership and participation.

Upon successful completion, be part of the Brimbank Leadership Alumni Program.
This Program will be offered at the time most preferred by participants. The class dates are in April.
