Blackmores and Australian Open partner to deliver ‘Wellbeing Oasis’

Leading vitamin and supplement company Blackmores has commenced a four year partnership with Tennis Australia that will see a pop-up ‘Wellbeing Oasis’ open to fans at the Australian Open tennis tournament.

Operating from 8th to 31st January on the Grand Slam Oval at Melbourne Park, the Blackmore Wellbeing Oasis is a innovative double story consumer brand activation unit that presents tennis fans with a complete wellbeing experience, including the newly launched Blackmores Wellbeing Check (a social activation initiative for consumers to make a ‘I Will Be’ statement of intent for 2016), roaming massage angels, the Blackmores Superfoods bar, as well as daily prizes and take away goodies.

Introducing the Wellbeing Oasis, Blackmores Chief Marketing Officer Paul Di Vito explains “we want visitors to go on a journey at the Blackmores Wellbeing Oasis – we want to empower them to feel their best, become more aware of their personal health and inspire them to ‘Be a Well Being’ throughout 2016.”

The Blackmores Wellbeing Check is an online interactive questionnaire offering consumers a personalised summary of their overall health and wellbeing. 10 key questions which focus on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, take the user on a personal journey to uncover a holistic view of their health. The final score provides users with a starting point on their journey to wellbeing and the opportunity to make their #IWillBe statement on social media.

Blackmores Global Health Ambassador and Australian Open 2014 champion Li Na as well as Blackmores Australian Open Ambassador Rachael Finch will be among the many sporting, health and media personalities who will take part in the Blackmores Wellbeing Check and make an ‘I Will Be’ pledge for their health and wellbeing goals at the Wellbeing Oasis during the tournament.

Also on offer at the Blackmores Wellbeing Oasis will be beverages using the newly launched Superfoods range, comprising of six superfood products sourced with the highest quality ingredients and added nature boost (such as antioxidants). The range includes Vitality Super Greens, Coconut Water, Wild Blueberry Blend, Single Origin Cacao, Matcha Green Tea and Raw Chia.

Looking forward to next week’s action, De Vito adds “it’s our first year at the Australian Open and we’re going to be putting on a show!”
