Big Wet heading to BIG4 Howard Springs

In a picturesque corner of the Northern Territory, just 23 kilometres from Darwin, BIG4's Howard Springs Holiday Park is preparing for the Big Wet with the imminent arrival of its new 285 metre2 Vortex Aquatic Playgrounds Splashpad.

With ground expected to be broken in early April and completion due before the beginning of the tourist season (May to September) the Splashpad is likely to be a welcome addition when the mercury rises above 30 degrees.

Themed to reflect the native landscape and its famous occupants, the custom-designed Splashpad features water cannons shaped like 'friendly' crocodiles, bubbling snake-shaped water fountains, frogs, turtles, flowers and spiders, as well as an enormous dumping bucket for extra fun and excitement.
