Barry Shepherd to head SICO South Pacific operations

Experienced sport and hospitality executive Barry Shepherd has been appointed General Manager of SICO® South Pacific.

In his role Shepherd will oversee all strategic functions including sales, marketing, new business acquisition and major project tendering across SICO’s operations in Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific Islands and Southern Africa, delivering SICO products to the hospitality, venue, government and education sectors, as well as all logistics, manufacturing, financial direction and staff management.

Before joining SICO®, Shepherd held a variety of senior management and enterprise account sales positions in the sport and hospitality industries. A proven sales leader and business innovator for companies ranging from St. George Illawarra Dragons Rugby League Football Club to Fosters Australia to Southcorp Wines Australia, he has implemented strategies to help organizations thrive in the growing, highly competitive South Pacific region of the global economy.
