Australian Turf Club and moshtix announce ticketing partnership

Ahead of this weekend’s historic first running of Australia’s richest horse race, The TAB Everest, The Australian Turf Club has announced a new long term partnership with Australia’s largest independent ticketing company, moshtix.

The deal will see moshtix provide an integrated ticketing and marketing solution for ATC’s multiple stakeholder groups across its flagship venues, including Sydney’s Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens racecourses.

The partnership is already enabling ATC patrons to benefit in pre-buying tickets cheaper and easier than ever before, with advance sales for this weekend’s first ever edition of The Everest already at record levels.

ATC’s Head of Customer Experience, Adam Smith, said of the moshtix partnership “ATC has a clear vision in terms of how we want to combine relevant technology and innovation with good old fashion local customer service to create a fan and stakeholder experience that’s second to none in Australia, and moshtix proved they were the best partner to help us deliver on this.

“In the short time we’ve been working with moshtix, we’ve already seen an uplift in pre- sales through a better ticket purchase process, cheaper fees, and a more integrated technology solution at the venue.

“Advance sales for The Everest are already at record levels for Royal Randwick. Over the next 12 to 18 months we’ll be rolling out a range of new platforms and solutions to the various customer groups that make up the ATC audience. This will eventually give us a solution that we believe will be a first of its kind in Australia”.

Moshtix owner and Chief Executive Harley Evans added “we’re thrilled to partner with the ATC and showcase how ticketing can be done in a ‘fan-friendly’ way.

“Ultimately this means making the ticketing process easier for everyone, and removing the barriers to people getting out to live events.

“It’s also incredibly exciting to be involved in the first edition of The Everest, and I’d really encourage everyone planning to be at this historic event to pre-buy before the day.”
