Australian Entertainment Safety Resource Guide to be introduced at Entech Roadshow 2017
An upcoming series of seminars will set out the structure and intent of the Australian Entertainment Safety Resource Guide.
Being held in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, the seminars, part of the Entech 2017 Roadshow, will be led by entertainment safety consultant Roderick van Gelder.
Being held in two parts, the first half of the seminar will see van Gelder outline the purpose of the guide and how it can help everyone to achieve the safest workable workplace. The draft set-up of the guide including a full chapter listing will be explained.
van Gelder will then show the broad structure of each chapter and some of the content prepared to date.
In the second half van Gelder will be responding to questions and suggestions from the audience.
A statement introducing the seminar explains “at present the Guide is in its infancy and all suggestions to improve it are more than welcome. The aim is to create a document that is broadly supported by the industry and gives guidance where to find the information needed to achieve a workable safe environment.
“The intent is not to tell people how to do their job but provide information they should be aware of when determining how to do their job.
“Part of that discussion will also be the future model of the guide and how people would prefer to access the information.”
All who register their attendance at the free seminars will receive a Professional Development certificate by email after the conclusion of the Entech Roadshow 2017.
