Tasmanian Walking Company launches Walk+ Collection

Tasmanian Walking Company has launched its 2022/23 Walk+ Collection – designed in collaboration with some of Australia’s most inspirational leaders the program targets adventurous walkers looking to embark on unparalleled experiences in the heart of nature, The collection features wellness, personal development, art, birding, live music, and culinary walks.

Bruny Island Long Weekend and Fat Pig Farm Feast

This farm to table experience is perfect for adventurous foodies seeking an inspirational journey of Tasmania’s local produce. The Bruny Island Long Weekend and Fat Pig Farm Feast combines a three-day island walk with a Farm Feast at Matthew Evans and Sadie Chrestman's Fat Pig Farm in the Huon Valley. Walkers will be treated to coastal walks, forest glamping and local culinary delights from a gourmet long lunch at the farm to fresh oyster shucking straight from the ocean.

Sacred Geography with Sarah Bachelard - A Pilgrimage Without and Within

Experience one of Australia’s most beautiful tracks in a spirit of pilgrimage with theologian and spiritual director Sarah Bachelard who will lead walkers across this ancient landscape. This journey of the iconic overland track is an opportunity to reconnect body, soul and spirit deepened by the lived experience of sacred geography and listening to the land.

Cradle Mountain Huts Walk (pictured top)is a six-day walk along the iconic Overland Track, retreating each evening to the comfort of the only private accommodation along the trail.

Live Music Walks with Emily Sanzaro

Walk breathtaking Bay of Fires and experience the ultimate cliff top dinner party complete with an interactive live performance by avant-garde Tasmanian Harpist, Emily Sanzaro. Emily is a contemporary harpist, vocalist, violinist & electronic loop artist based in Launceston and is celebrated for her original compositions and experimentation with percussive techniques, electronic effects, and looping.

The Bay of Fires Lodge Walk is an all-inclusive four-day walk along the pristine east coast of Tasmania and staying at award winning Bay of Fires Lodge.
