AUSactive’s strategic priorities for all levels of government to be presented at Senior Management Summit

Having evolved from Fitness Australia at the end of last year, AUSactive will be staging its inaugural Senior Management Summit next month, presenting an opportunity for business owners, corporate staff, key operating personnel and marketing professionals from across the industry to come together and learn from keynote speakers, expert panels and international leaders.

Being held in Sydney from 10am on 21st October, in advance of the AUSactive National Awards Gala that evening, the Summit will be a day of tailored content carefully crafted exclusively for anyone in the health and exercise industry who is passionate about what they do and is looking to accelerate their learning and knowledge for the future.

Summit sessions will include:
Session One - Movement for Movement

Over the past 2.5 years, exercise and fitness have been pushed into the spotlight in terms of looking after physical and mental health and wellbeing. As we continue to work towards further alignment with the preventative health sector, this session will hear from Huw Edwards, who will share his insights on ukactive’s journey of integration with the UK Health department and reflections from Ginni Mansberg on the role GPs play for prescribing exercise to their patients.

Additionally, we will speak to our Private Health Fund partners about initiatives benefiting personal trainers and fitness businesses.

Session Two - Let’s Go
What will sustainability, regulation and growth mean in the future of our industry and what crucial role will we as individuals and business play? Join us to hear from our panel of thought leaders who will each share their perspective, provide insights and tips on how our we can lift our game.

Session Three - Belonging
Health and fitness are for everyone, but how can our industry better harness diversity, equity and inclusion? Our keynote speakers will address these issues while our panel of subject matter experts will answer questions and provide further insights.
