ASB Theatre Marlborough joins Ticketek network

TEG, Australasia’s leading ticketing, live entertainment and data analytics company, has today announced that the ASB Theatre Marlborough in Blenheim, New Zealand will join the Ticketek network of sports and entertainment venues.

Opened in 2016, the ASB Theatre Marlborough is a multi-purpose venue with state-of-the-art facilities for live performances, conferences and functions.

Announcing the partnership Geoff Jones, Chief Executive of TEG, the parent company of Ticketek New Zealand, said the new partnership would not only see Ticketek provide a world-class ticketing service, but help the ASB Theatre Marlborough grow its business and profile.

ASB Theatre Marlborough General Manager Andrew Scott said the ticketing arrangement will enable the theatre to access new marketing channels cost-effectively and provide patrons with booking access via the theatre’s box office to a large range of shows, festivals and sports events throughout New Zealand.

Scott commented “it also enables shows in Marlborough to have much greater visibility nationwide via Ticketek’s extensive online audience.”

Scott says Ticketek’s partnerships with national and international promoters will enable the theatre to attract a greater range of high-profile touring artists and shows to Marlborough, adding “it’s going to be a huge bonus for putting Marlborough on the map for touring acts.”

The new Ticketek arrangement will begin from 1st July.
