Arnold Classic to feature fitness leaders summit and fitness class world record attempt

The upcoming Arnold Classic Australia multi-sports Festival is set to feature two significant fitness events: a fitness industry leaders summit backed by the International Fitness Federation and a Guinness World Records attempt to host the world's largest circuit class.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Arnold Classic Australia multi-sports Festival is aiming to be the biggest and best multi-sports festival Australia has ever seen. Growing out of the FitX Sport & Fitness Expo, the branded over event builds on the four-year success of the former Expo while also marking an international expansion for the Arnold Classic brand.

The event, being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 13th to 15th March 2015, expects to draw crowds in excess of 50,000 visitors.

Within the Arnold Classic, the Fitness Leaders Summit will give delegates the opportunity to tap into the knowledge and experience of former Australian Ironman surf lifesaving champion and fitness leader Guy Leech and motivational speaker Paul Timms.

The Summit is being held on Friday 13th March.

Leech, known as 'Australia's No.1 fitness coach' and seven-times Ironman winner, will also be leading the attempt to set the record for The Worlds Largest Core Fitness Circuit Class.

The attempt, being held on Saturday 14th March, will include a series of exercises at 10 stations that will make up 30 minutes exercise class.

With massive participation expected, Guinness World Records officials will be on hand to verify numbers.
