Aquatic industry professionals head to 2018 SPLASH! Expo
With more than 1600 people already registered to attend the 2018 SPLASH! Expo, trade and professional attendees are being reminded to register to attend in order to gain maximum benefits from the exhibition and the most comprehensive program of education sessions ever provided at the event.
Being held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on 1st and 2nd August, SPLASH! features a remarkable range of aquatic industry training options, including:
• Continuing professional development (CPD) sessions for pool builders from the Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA)
• SPLASH! business improvement workshops
• The International Swim Schools spectacular from the Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) and International Swim Schools Association (ISSA)
• Australian Leisure Facilities Association Queensland Learning Session.
In addition, SPLASH! 2018 features:
• Networking events
• The SPASA Awards Gala Dinner
• SPLASH! Andrew Simons Memorial Golf Day
Golfers can book individually or as a team and play in an Ambrose event at the Royal Pines Golf Course on the 3rd August

Being held on Thursday 2nd August, the event will feature informative presentations from peakers including:
Morning Session - Safety and Swim Schools
• Paul Barry, Chief Executive, Royal Life Saving Society Queensland - New Lifeguard Accreditation and Public Pool Safety Research
• David Speechley, former ASCTA Chief Executive - Update on Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations development

Afternoon Session - Automation
• Bryn Whales, Sales Manager, Jonas Leisure - Member Automation
