Aligned Leisure appointment to support ongoing growth
Aligned Leisure has announced that Ben Tudhope has been appointed as the company’s inaugural Business Development Manager.
With over 13 years’ experience in the aquatic, recreation and sport industry, Tudhope has worked for and in partnership with a number of local government authorities and managed a variety in a range of environments.
Most recently he was the Area Manager for the Active Moreland facilities.
Tudhope is also a Director of Aquatics and Recreation Victoria and currently convenes its Facility Management Standing Committee.
Looking forward to his new role, Tudhope stated “I am excited to join the Aligned Leisure team in an exciting new role.
“Working with a new industry operator with a fresh outlook on leisure facility management is exciting. The Business Development Manager role will allow me to continue my industry wide outlook and work with new partners.”
The Business Development Manager appointment comes in the midst of a growth phase for Aligned Leisure, which now operates nine leisure facilities across the Cardinia and Nillumbik Shires.
Aligned Leisure Managing Director Cain Liddle added “we feel enormously privileged that someone of Ben’s calibre has accepted our offer to join Aligned Leisure.
“Ben builds strong, long lasting relationships with local government partners and he is well-respected as an outstanding leader. Culture is critical in any business, but even more important through the establishment phase and we have no doubt that Ben will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Aligned Leisure is a great place to work and a valuable partner to local government in the management of their facilities and the servicing of their residents.”
Aligned Leisure is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Richmond Football Club.
Tudhope will begin his new role on Monday 14th August.
